FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY

 WELCOME

Photography has always been a part of my life and while I’ve taken a few classes, I’m mostly self-taught. Being an outdoor photographer, my work is largely inspired by nature; however, I’m completely open to what may be around the corner and enjoy the serendipitous way in which a scene can unfold right before my eyes.

Taking the picture is only the beginning of the creative process and whether I’m using a large-format film or digital camera I let my inner-eye guide me when creating the physical manifestation. For example, I may hand paint a black & white photograph on canvas with oil colors. It’s really about re-creating an emotion.
